Children Of Sarala Birla Public School started preparation for “Rakshabandhan” – A festival that celebrates the love and duty between brothers and sisters.
Sarala Birla Public School conducted an activity of Rakhi making just to make the small children understand the meaning of this festival and to involve the tiny lots in the making of it.
Students of K.G-I to Std. II participated in this activity. They were taught to make Rakhis of different colours and shapes in such an easy way that they were all able to do it very quickly and they enjoyed doing it.
The materials were provided by the school and all the little hands were at work.
Lastly they were told about the significance of this festival and an enactment was made to describe them how to celebrate it.
The little ones were made to take an oath that they will tie only handmade Rakhis instead of the readymade ones.
