Sarala Birla Public School conducted an adventure camp from 17th December 2014 to 24th December 2014 for all the classes from KG I to Std. XI. In this camp the students were trained to overcome fear and protect themselves in case of emergency or natural calamities. The activities conducted were flying fox, bamboo bridge, parallel rope, net crossing etc. They were taught to climb ladders made of ropes and bamboos freely suspended from a tight wire swinging in the air and to climb vertical ropes with the use of a single rope .
Through these activities students learnt to balance on the ropes, cross rivers, crags and gorges, rescue from a building etc. These challenges allowed the participants to recognize fears that may block their personal achievements and expand their comfortzone. Students took part in this camp with great spirit, enthusiasm and zeal.
