SBPS celebrates Grand Parents’ Day ‘Vatsalyam- 2017’

Sarala Birla Public School organised Grand Parents’ Day programme ‘Vatsalyam 2017’ on 12th August 2017 with the theme ‘Values’. The students of class II expressed their gratitude towards their elders through a variety of programmes. The programme was inaugurated by the chief guest Dr. S.P. Aggarwal, Pro Chancellor Sai Nath University by lighting the lamp.

The programme began with Ganesh Vandana. A programme based on ‘Swachch Bharat Abhiyan’ was presented by one of the groups. Through this programme they gave the message of Gandhiji and his principles. On the other hand the other group of children attracted the attention of audience by their programme ‘Prakriti Ka Aahwahan.’ Along with that the children presented a programme ‘Igniting Champions’ showing that games as a significant part of life. Through this programme they gave the message how sports help in inculcating zeal, confidence, punctuality and discipline among the individuals. A wonderful programme based on Independence Day as well as Janmashtami was beautifully presented.

The chief guest Dr. S.P. Aggarwal was overwhelmed by the different programmes. Praising the efforts of children, he said that it is the duty of the parents and grandparents to shape the future of their grandchildren in such a way so that they first grow up to be true and sincere human beings with good cultural upbringing
