Republic Day Celebration

Sarala Birla School, Ranchi celebrated India’s 68th Republic Day. The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of freedom and unity. To mark the importance of this day, a grand celebration was held in the school and many activities were planned in the school premises. The flag was hoisted by the school Head Personnel & Admin, Mr. Pradip Varma.    He highlighted the sacrifices of martyrs and said that we should all follow the principle of live and let live. The school echoed with patriotic    fervour as the children participated in fancy dress competition. A special tribute was paid to soldiers through the songs and dance by the senior wings students. The cricket match between teachers and students remained the main highlight of the grand celebration in which the teachers’ team bagged the trophy.  The school reverberated with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm ending with the prize distribution and the vote of thanks. On the eve of the Republic Day, a patriotic song competition was held in which Athravaveda house from the senior section bagged the first prize whereas Yajurveda house bagged the first prize in the junior section.
