Grand Parents Day Vatsalyam-2017

On August 5, ‘Vatsalyam-2017’ was celebrated in Sarala Birla Public School, Ranchi. The programme was put up by the students to show their love and gratitude towards their grandparents. The programme started amidst zeal and vibrancy with the welcome ceremony of the chief guest, Mr. C. P. Singh, Minister of Urban Development, Housing and Transport, Govt. of Jharkhand. The children also tied ‘maitri -bandhan’ to the honourable chief guest.

The students of Std. I – F and I – G welcomed the guests with “Bharatnatyam” which was followed by several enthralling performances by the tiny tots. Students of Std. I – A and I – E gave the message of unity, peace and brotherhood in the world through their act. In another performance students of std. I – C and I – D taught the lesson of “Global Harmony” which was worth appreciating. Sufi dance was performed by students of Std. I – B, appealing for humanity and emancipation of the less-fortunate. The grandparents’ too shared the stage with the children, which was praised by all.

The Chief Guest, Mr. C. P. Singh blessed the students and said that the children of today are the citizens of tomorrow. He also said that together we can strive to make the world a better place to live for which the school is efficiently endeavouring to imbibe the feeling of universal harmony in the students. He expressed his happiness for the achievement of the school and with the coming up of Sarala Birla University the management will be able to impart quality education from KG to PG.
