Children’s Day Celebration @SBPS

Childhood means unlimited fun, beautiful showers of love and care, a realm of imagination and the joy of growing up. The premises of Sarala Birla Public School echoed with gaiety and laughter of the children on 10th November 2017 as the teachers had arranged for special assembly for the occasion of Children’s Day. Teachers prayed, sang and gave speeches for the children. The students applauded the teachers for showing their love and affection towards them. Fancy dress competition for Std. KG I & KG II as well as Spell Well Competition for Std. I and Std. II was also organized in the school premises. The aim was to bring out hidden talent of the tiny tots and instill confidence in them. In fancy Dress Competition, children showcased their talent by dressing up in the most vibrant colours and themes that touched the hearts. Some became characters like Superheroes, National leader, animal whereas some conveyed message like ‘Say No to Plastic’, ‘Save the earth’ etc. It was delight to watch children as they came up and spoke. In Spell Well Competition, students qualified by mastering words from a spelling list. The competition generated a great deal of excitement as there were fill ups, jumbled words etc to be solved. The competition was graced by School Head Personnel & Admin. Mr. Pradip Varma and Principal Mrs. Paramjit Kaur. The winners of the competition are:
 In class KG I, Anvi Jain (Yajurveda) bagged the 1st position, Jashn Sukhija (Yajurveda) and Rajvi (Rigveda) stood 2nd & 3rd respectively while Chetan Anand Singh (Atharvaveda) secured 4th position. In KG II Sharanya (Rigveda) bagged the 1st position, Tanisha Podda (Yajurveda) took 2nd place, Akanksha Gadhyan (Samveda) took 3rd place and Rupam Chatterjee (Rigveda) took 4th place. In Std. I Samridhi Gupta (Yajurveda), Ranvir Singh (Atharvaveda), Adya Ojal (Yajurveda) and Soumya Kashyap (Atharvaveda) stood 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Similarly, in Std. II Akshita (Atharvaveda), Dimple (Yajurveda), Ishit Raj (Rigveda) and Navya Nidhi (Rigveda) came 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
