‘Ban on Child Labour’ an awareness drive

‘Ban on Child Labour’ an awareness drive (05.08.2016)

In the wake  of awareness programme against child labour, students of Std. III to VIII performed  skits on child labour in the morning assembly with a view to bring this issue to the limelight. The motivational skit ‘Stop Child Labour’ was performed with the message that ‘children are made to learn, not to earn’. Depicting the torturous and hazardous work that they are forced to do, the skit gave the idea that only learning can remove the darkness from their lives. This was followed by a group song and a speech informing what child labour is and how it can be eradicated from the society.
